This cast iron clock, made by Glasgow foundry Walter Macfarlane & Co, was presented to the town by local business man James Hastings to commemorate the coronation of George V and Queen Mary.
Pioneer House was built in 1879 by the Dewsbury Pioneers’ Industrial Society. The original wrought iron finial was missing. The design for its replacement was developed from archive photographs.
The Ladies Waiting Room at Shrub Hill Station, Worcester has a cast iron facade which was manufactured by the Vulcan Iron Works circa 1880. We carried out cast iron repairs to this GdII listed building.
