Lanterns, Liverpool Town Hall

Cleaning and refurbishment works at Liverpool’s GdI listed town hall (built 1795) included the restoration of four copper lanterns which were originally gas.

Old paint has been removed and the lantern bodies have been repaired. The substantial cast iron support brackets have also been cleaned, repaired and repainted.
