Diana the Huntress Fountain, Royal Parks London

The bronze statue of Diana the Huntress or Artemis is situated in the flower garden in Hyde Park, London. The beautiful Grade II listed fountain was in need of restoration.

We carefully dismantled the bronze elements, carefully separating them from the marble and stone in conjunction with specialist stonemasons.

We comprehensively cleaned the statue along with the four supporting Caryatids and other decorative bronze items.

Following crack repairs and a small amount of replacement items, great care was taken to tone the bronze and lacquer the figurines.

Finally, we reinstated the bronzes alongside the stone masons on site. Diana is now complete again with a new point on her arrow, and a string to her bow!
