Here we have made and installed a contemporary pair of vehicle gates, hinged off the rear of the piers to maximise the opening available for the passage of vehicles.

Bespoke Work

This balustrade was designed by our client and their architect. Their sketches were developed into a building regulation compliant design and installed to a newly finished timber staircase.

Glazed Balustrades in Listed Buildings

Glass remains a popular choice in modern architecture and heritage settings alike. At Hexham Abbey, we were commissioned to install glazed balustrades, chosen for our ability to work sensitively around the listed stonework. The result balances contemporary design with respect for the site’s historic character.

Complex Fabrications

At first glance, this handrail may appear simple, but it has been carefully designed to follow the steps precisely and maintain continuity throughout. Precise surveying, detailed drafting, and skilled fabrication were all crucial in achieving the design specifications required for this listed building. Featured New Build Projects

Canopy 3-5 Bold Street Southport

We realised the architect’s vision as a contemporary street canopy, closely matching the adjacent structures. Since Victorian times Southport has been synonymous with verandas and canopies. This canopy demonstrates clean lines and coastal resilience.

Entrance Handrails, Macclesfield

We provided new, painted iron handrails to either side of new entrance steps to a private house.

Shrewsbury Cathedral New Altar Rail

We were honoured to be commissioned to manufacture an entirely new gated Altar Rail for Shrewsbury Cathedral. Traditionally constructed with wrought and polished brass. The rail features intricate detailing that harmonises with the existing architectural details that feature around the Cathedral.

Old Colwyn War Memorial

This memorial honours the men and women of Old Colwyn who gave their lives in times of war. To recognise their ultimate sacrifice for King and country, a new bronze plaque was added to include further names of those who were missed from the original WW1 memorials.

Bentley Park Bandstand

Survey, manufacture and installation of a new contemporary bandstand at Bentley Park, Doncaster.

Balustrades Alderley Edge

We worked with a local architect to develop sketches into these contemporary hoop designs. The staircase and landings were made up of complex curves and changes in level. Our balustrades and forged handrails followed the joinery work seamlessly.

Chelsea Garage Internal Mezzanine

With space at a premium, we designed and built this stunning mezzanine in the basement of a private residence in Chelsea. The staircase features traditional cast iron treads and a striking glass floor to the landing, combining strength with Victorian elegance.

Grosvenor Park, Chester

Originally built as the park keeper’s lodge, this charming building has been thoughtfully repurposed into a vibrant café and community space. We were proud to supply and erect the cast iron columns, spandrels and structural framework for the newly added glazed portico, seamlessly blending traditional character with contemporary design.

Private Residence, Cheshire

We were chosen to provide a large bespoke, contemporary solid bronze balustrade to a new build private residence.
