Private Residence, Cheshire
We were chosen to provide a large bespoke, contemporary solid bronze balustrade to a new build private residence.
The balustrade seamlessly follows the new stone steps and copings through curves and rakes, and is constructed using alternate smooth mill finished and sand cast solid bronze pilasters. Finished with a traditional handrail and supported on classical newels. The entire structure is non-ferrous bronze, ensuring it remains corrosion-free for a lifetime without the need for maintenance. However, at the client's request, the balustrade is toned and waxed annually to preserve its freshly built lustre.
The handrails were terminated with neat hand shaped profiles.
Our client was so delighted they asked us to provide two simpler, but matching low level bronze railings to the waterside. Each including a single passenger gate.
Both were finished with elegant forged scrolls.
