Harlesden Clock
The cast iron Jubilee Clock was erected in 1887 at Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. It’s a beautiful, ornate clock decorated with dolphins and featuring a fluted circular column. During the late 20th century elements were removed including the weathervane, lanterns and fountain bowls.
In 1997 the clock was restored but without the weathervane, lanterns and fountain bowls .

We were asked to create replicas of the missing items so we carried out an in-depth survey of nearby Mitcham Clock (one of the few existing Jubilee clocks of this type remaining).
We created pattern drawings and hand carved pattern equipment and using old photographs as reference we were able to match the lantern assembly.
